As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business dashboards, conducting data analysis, and ensuring data integrity across the organisation. You will act as a bridge between data and various teams, providing stakeholders, including PR, marketing, product, and management, with the insights and numbers they need to steer our organisation effectively. Your role will be pivotal in shaping a data-driven culture and supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality data.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build and Maintain Dashboards: Design and develop comprehensive business dashboards in Looker to track key metrics such as customer energy usage, segment analysis, customer assets, prices and costs.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse measurements across customer segments to uncover trends, inform pricing strategies, and identify performance and savings opportunities.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with PR, marketing, the website team, product teams, and management to communicate and provide accurate, high-quality data for external and internal use.
Ensure Data Integrity: Verify that all data communicated outside the company is accurate, has a strong basis, and meets high standards of quality.
Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing dynamics, and new opportunities, delivering actionable insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
Support KPI Development: Partner with tech teams to define KPIs for each team, create team dashboards, and ensure alignment with the overall organisational goals.
Key Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and pipeline development.
Dashboard Expertise: Demonstrated experience building business dashboards, preferably using Looker or similar tools.
Energy Market Knowledge: A keen interest in the energy market, with previous experience in the sector or product innovation being a plus.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate data insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-Oriented and Organized: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of insights.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse market developments and load data to provide insights that enhance product offerings and inform strategic decisions.
